Munchkins was born in 2005 after the birth of Munchkins founder, Carla's third child. During her pregnancy she set about looking for great quality nursery products that would combine together to create her own "Dream Nursery"
However after months of looking she realised if she wanted this then we would need to look overseas - it was then that Munchkinsâ was conceived.

With quality being the MOST important factor she set about creating great quality nursery products.
From amazing hand made quilts and lamps to New Zealand made wall art and lampshades.
Now everyone can have their very own "Dream Nursery"

In July 2011, Munchkins became the new baby of Craig and Laurene and its base shifted over the hill from Papamoa to Hamilton.  Laurene has spent many years working in retail and shopping online!  She realised the importance of having quality products available online especially to new Mums, and those living rurally.  Laurene prides herself on customer service, even if it isn't face to face. Her background is in Primary teaching, which took a backseat when she had her first child in 2008.  Laurene and Craig are now expecting their second baby in 2012.
